THE STORY OF THE PRINT
Once upon there was a girl with a dream to adorn the world in vibrant African print.
Karingana wa Karingana means ”once upon a time” in one of the local language spoken in Mozambique, and it was designed by the designer duo with the same name. Wacelia Zacarias and Djamila De Sousa, the artists behind the print, are passionately telling the story of African textiles and spreading it to the world.

Symbolically, this was also Puka Wear’s first print and the story will always start here.
